Fuckity fuck...
So, like, I've been letting my dad drive my leased car for a while before my lease is up next month - mainly because I've been driving my mazda. Well, he went down to FL to help my sister move, so my step mom started driving it - which is scary because it's a stick shift. So I suggested that she trade it with her son in law's car instead.
I'm sure you know where this is going.. Last friday, he was dropping her off somewhere, and they got rear-ended. The only good thing I could say is no one got hurt. Now, michigan is very retarded when it comes to insurance (it's a "no fault" state). What that means is that even though an accident IS someone else's fault, your insurance covers your damage with you having to pay the deductible no matter what. So, my brother in law is driving my car - who has insurance on his other cars, gets rear ended by some old lady who has insurance on her car, yet I'm stuck with a FUCKING $1000 deductible, and will most likely see my rates go up. SO FUCKING RETARDED
