ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
So, last Thursday I fly out to Chicago for several hours and flew back home. As I'm walking to my car, I realize my keys are no longer in my backpack. On my key chain I have 3 keys - one for that car, my motorcycle, and my house - all of which are the ONLY keys I have for each. I start looking for them with airport security, thinking that I may have lost them at the security screening checkpoint - nope, not there. They turn all the lost crap over to the airport police lost and found which apparently operates on banker hours. My second hunch was that they somehow fell out my backpack and are now sitting in the rental car. So, I call up national rental car, and they tell me nothing has been found yet and to call back the next day. So I call back Friday morning, and they said they found them! I asked them if they could send them for overnight saturday delivery, and that I would pay for them - which they said they could do, and that they would give me a track number - which they never did.
Saturday rolls around - no keys. I call national, but there is no answer. I call again several times, and no answer, even though the facility is 24hrs.
Then sunday, and still no keys, nor does anyone answer the phone.
Now monday rolls around, and I want my damn keys before I fly out to miami. So, I call national, and it takes them so long to even find the shipping slip that they decide they should call me back with the tracking number. I look it up, just to find out it has been SITTING at the local fedex facility because some fucking idiot checked the "saturday hold" box - which means it just sits at the fucking fedex place, with no kind of notification to the addressee. So, it was indeed shipped for saturday, just not to me, and with no way of knowing.
I'm so irritated that I wanted to call national back and ask how retarded everyone there is, but I thought "nah, forget it". yo holmes! To Bel Air!
