yes, there is sleep and there is this other one that also has an AoE, forgot what its called. but it has 1 of 3 random effects. 1 turns enemies to fight for you, the other turns enemies against eachother and the third one... well im sure it also does something nasty. anyway, ya the combination of sleep and "random fuck up spell" is a great enemy party management tool.
there are other entropy spells that really do wonders single enemy boss battles. there is one that causes every hit you do to be critical and one that causes the enemy to miss every hit he does. they always work on bosses, i dont think there is a mental resistance check for them.
