Present DAO status:
All revenants that yield Juggernaut armor are dead.
Two dragons are dead.
Allistair is wearing full Juggernaut. Sten is wearing Dragonbone heavy armor. Archer is wearing Wade's Superior Drakescale light armor. I'm still wearing the Felon's Coat and other top-quality rogue gear. Morrigan is wearing Robes of Possession (they look stupid but have nice stats). Other party members got handmedowns.
Why is Sten not wearing massive armor, you ask? He needs the mobility and willpower and is not a tank. I would go after the Yusaris great sword at the Circle Tower, but the drop is not 100% guaranteed. This is silly. I won't do a fight over because a drop has even the slightest randomness. Sten will be okay with his mallet -- good armor penetration.
Pretty soon, we'll go after Gaxxkang (very powerful lich holed up in one of the Denerim back alleys) to get Allistair a decent sword -- need to be high-level to do this, as this guy is worse than the dragons.
Mages are learning proper spells of ganking.
Ran into the Crows who wanted to assassinate Zevran (or whatever his name is) and whooped them easily. This is a good indicator of readiness for the late game.
Oh, I would not want to be an enemy of this party. DAO should have an option for enemies to surrender because there's no point in trying to win against our Ubersturmfuhrer Party of Dark Spawn Extinction.
