Q2 is very nostalgic as it was one of the first games I've played on my own modern PC. Actually, I ended up playing through it again several years ago. I liked it because it continued the tradition of simple shooters from id. No cut scenes with characters yapping on for half hour about being butthurt that their boyfriend left them. none of that. Just a bunch of pissed off robo-aliens.
