destroy? none of those problems equal actual data loss as seagate is providing free data recovery services...
now when you have a 500gb westernfailital with EVERYTHING backed up to it, and only it, and it suddenly decides to take a shit on you because it detects you are the king of france, thats when you really have a problem.
