I feel like it would be more appropriate if I was
... by staying at this god forsaken hotel. I managed to find a reasonable hotel(well, at least compared to this place) last night, but now they're booked for the rest of the week. In fact, everything in this town is sold out. The next closest village is 40 miles or so away, and they only have what is most likely a trucker stop/meth lab. The hotel I'm working at is a brand new place, but they still don't have their certificate of occupancy, so staying there is out of the question. (un)luckily for me, one of the managers happened to have a reservation for some other vendor at this hotel which got reasonable reviews on google maps. I had no idea what I had in store until I saw roaches walk out of the building in disgust. I think the management has the mindset "Why update when you can outdate instead?". Yes, everything is as it was when it was new, except now it's old. Even their vacuum cleaners are probably original, as there is all sorts of bits and pieces of crap on the 80s-tastic orange carpeting. I think I may have been bitten by bed bugs from simply looking at the building from the car window. I have yet to remove the cum-camouflage comforter, and am obviously reluctant to do so.
