Pixel Qi displays should be pretty slick
for laptops and tablets. Not as efficient as e-paper, or as good image quality as a regular tft lcd, but is looking to be perfect in between. I'm all about a mini notebook with one of these things in it if the price point is comparable to current models out there (which supposedly they will be). If the design one where the display slips like on a typical tablet notebook, then it'll pull double duty as an e-book reader. This is one of the few computer technologies that i've actually been excited about in years.
