RE: The media can be impressive at times
The area is a war zone, they were acting suspiciously and shouldn't have been there in the first place. If there was a military takeover in my town, the last thing I would be doing is wandering about with what could be mistaken as an RPG pointing it at armed helicopters.
The photographers took the risk of being where they were and lost. There is no one to blame but themselves.
Lets repeat.....This was a war zone. People die in war zones. People who think everyone is an innocent civilian wandering around in a war zone will be the first one dead.
What about the rights of the soldiers in the helicopter? They thought they were about to be fired upon, IN A WAR ZONE. They have families, kids...etc.
No matter how you try to rationalize it, the people on the ground shouldn't have been there, they shouldn't have had children with them, and the photographers took their own lives in their hands by being there. The kids probably didn't know any better but they were there, and remember this is a place where people dress kids in bombs and have them run and blow up entire crowds of people.......
