To me the whole point WAS that no one really did anyhting wrong. Not the soldiers, not the reporter, not his body guards, not the people who tried to help them. Every action was cleared by radio through a commanding officer at a base who you can be sure follows written procedure to the letter.

I saw AK47s. I did not see an RPG. I believe the soldier believed he saw an RPG. It makes sense that a reporter would have camera equipment that might look like an RPG. It makes sense that his body guards would have AK47s.

The problem is that its not a war-zone. Its an occupation. There you are with soldiers and tanks and helicopters on one side, and nothing on the other. Just a country full of people who don't want you there. Some of them shoot at you. There is no way to avoid what happened in the video except to simply leave. Those guys with AK47s and maybe-RPGs in Iraq cannot hurt me.
