I noticed a big smear of something dark and sticky in front of my refrigerator the other day. It was about the circumference of your average frisbee and about a quarter-inch thick. It was the color of plum sauce. I think it was plum sauce.
It had been there for quite a long time. I'd probably known it was there all along, but my mind had blocked it out subconsciously. Also, it wasn't all that noticeable because there were other big smears on the floor. I usually don't look down there because I may want to sweep or mop or something. But I must have seen this in just the right light.
Well, of course, I couldn't just let it stay there. I made a note to clean it up and was going to put it on my refrigerator, but I couldn't find a magnet, so I threw the note away. I don't know what will happen now.
