johnny - the "metal" i play is just drop-D super fast fret action.
alot of machine gun fire and palming and the drop-D is so u can hit powercords ridiculously fast (just 3 open strings). it sounds good. its on par with all the other metal out there. i consider that pretty good considering i am 1000% self taught.
also, the proper blood forum etiquette would be to show video of you playing. because quite frankly, i dont believe in any shit you post.
also, i am not limited to guitar. i play alot of bass too. i slap and pop and do all kinds of wierd shit with my finger nails. its kind of like less claypool. im also refining an acoustic guitar technique that involves playing the acoustic guitar like a bass. in where its a mixture of slapping and popping and reaching in and picking out the individual strings with your fingers. its very unique, and as far as i know i haven't heard anyone do it. thatoneguy was able to hear a TASTE of it at his house. i dont own an acoustic but perhaps i could record myself at my friends house on his.
