You didn't like the original Poseidon Adventure? Okay this is what I mean. You're talking about a movie that came out in the height of disaster movies. The same decade that spawned the Towering Inferno, leading up to the 1980 Airplane! that spoofs disaster movies due to their over abundance back then. NOBODY went into this movie expecting anybody to win oscar for best actor or best screenplay. It was just a slightly higher quality of acting for a movie like that back then, coupled with (at the time) a larger than normal budget for effects. Poseidon Adventure was, being short and sweet, a badass movie. You should be ashamed of yourself for being 325 years old and not liking it.
