Even though I haven't seen Jonah Hex
I did rent the Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland. I liked it pretty well. I've never liked any version of Alice before this movie. Of course, it didn't have much to do with the book. It was like another Alice video game with idiotic combat and obvious "3D moments," but the acting was pretty good. Johnny Depp was all right as the Mad Hatter, but nothing special. The actors who stole the movie were Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. The girl who played Alice was good, too, but I can't even write out her weird Polish or whatever kind of Balkan name, so you'll probably never hear from her again.
