Subject: My review of The A-Team

This was a fun movie. It's no more worth the full price of admission than anything else out right now, but it's a definite DVD rental. I think they did a good job of making a big-budget tribute to the TV show, which, let's face it, was not high art by any stretch. The movie's plot is full of holes and problems, but the characters are all likable (even the bad guys) and there are many funny moments. The dialogue is surprisingly well-written. I had no problem with Liam Neeson as Hannibal. The guy who played Baracus could have been better cast, as he was no Mr. T, but everyone else was good.

In some ways, it's a messy, uneven movie, but on the whole it's quite entertaining and charming. It also has many explosions. I give it 4 out of 5 Van Helsings.
