Noise is a consideration, as I said before, this will also serve as a jukebox and audio recording machine so quiet fans are a must. I'm still trying to figure out what I will do for storage. I guess I could use my old audio pc as a file server, but I will still need a hdd for the OS, and another one for audio tracks. I looked into SSDs a bit several months ago, but was weary about some of the inherent issues found in the most common types.
I don't plan on doing video capture, as that's what a cable box with dvr is for. As long as the video card supports multi monitor hdmi & vga/dvi combo, I don't really care, though a little horsepower wouldn't hurt.
oh, and bf is right. My TV is in the living room where it should be.
