Those cases are alright, but they look a little big considering most home entertainment shelves. You can still get some decent CPU power from miniATX, so you should consider looking at that. If you're going to be recording, then you'll probably want to look at buying a USB soundcard. It's probably the cheapest and easiest way to get high quality analogue recording/playback. With onboard or PCI sound you'll be battling electrical interference a lot.
Don't worry about getting a separate video card, onboard video is fine. Just make sure it has HDMI and that it's either an Nvidia or ATI chipset.
