James Bond is the original franchise and it can be scientifically proven that all franchises are soulless trash, so you're really not selling this very well.
Speaking of franchises, I'm surprised you haven't posted about the Fallout tv show. I watched the first episode, and it seems to be about the same level of retarded story writing as the game was, so I figured it would be right up your alley. For some reason, whoever is writing the show thinks it should be a comedy, despite the fact that they don't have the talent for comedic writing. I feels like an abridged Bollywood production without the singing. I will admit, I enjoyed the original Fallout games when I bought them from the bargain bin in 2001, but thats really where that series should have died.
